Desktop Research
Fast, offline capable tools built for focused research and learning.
Not all of AderaBrain's work lives in the cloud. Alongside our neurotechnology and bioinformatics pipelines, we build standalone desktop research tools designed to run locally and put data directly in the hands of the people who need it.
Our flagship example is a Polish vocabulary learning application: a desktop-first picture-flashcard system pairing thousands of Polish words with matching images, built around a simple keep-or-review workflow and spaced-repetition logic, with vocabulary and audio sourced through our own transcript-extraction and text-to-speech pipelines.
This same desktop-first philosophy carries into our internal research tooling, from bioinformatics pipelines processing sequencing data on dedicated compute instances to biophysical modelling scripts used to analyse leukocyte behaviour at the blood-brain barrier, reflecting our preference for tools that are fast, offline-capable, and built for focused, distraction-free research and learning.
