Our story
SYNAPSE 40PHI sp. z o.o. was established in Jastrzębiec, near Warsaw, Poland. The name reflects the company's dual identity: a synapse, the junction where signals pass between cells, and the Greek letter phi, a symbol of proportion and mathematical beauty.
Our work combines experimental and computational immunology with artificial intelligence and software engineering. This lets us approach scientific problems from both the bench and the algorithm, and turn research insights into practical tools.
Alongside research, we believe knowledge should be shared. Our Education and Outreach branches bring science and digital skills to students, schools and migrant communities, and help document the memories and crafts of communities that might otherwise be lost.
To advance understanding at the intersection of immunology, computational biology and AI, and to share that knowledge with the communities around us.

Where we are
We are based in Jastrzębiec (Lesznowola municipality), about 30 km south of Warsaw, close to Warsaw's universities, research institutes and technology sector.
